Having had one tooth and a lot of tartar removed, and one stitch put into her gum. Everything went beautifully.
She is still recovering from the anaesthesia, plus I just gave her .5 ml of buprenorphine, being a firm believer that since cats conceal pain like a bunch of short furry Christian martyrs they get their pain relief for as long as it's prescribed, not just if they
seem "off".
When I picked her up she tended to walk in left-handed spirals and was having trouble controlling her feet:

Now that she's had the bup we're pretty much into "Dude. Did you ever, like, REALLY LOOK at your PAW, DUDE?" I mean, her aura, if not her actual self, has those endlessly spiralling psychedelic multi-coloured cartoon eyes going on.
She does not LIKE being given bup, but 5 minutes after I got it into her she went face down in the gushy food she gets for the next three-four days and hasn't really come up for air since.

Admittedly she was fasted from 8 pm last night til three hours ago, and they only gave her a small snack then, but this is
impressive.
