You know what? It's growing on me, it really is. Now that I've had time to giggle and snark and absorb it, I have to say:

It's worth.

It's somewhere between a good piece of myth and a good piece of Arthurian fanfic.

It's nothing like ANY other Arthur I've ever seen before. Now that I've absorbed that fact, it enchants, rather than offends me.

Nothing. Like. Any. Other. Arthur. Ever.

And it really did have some wonderful moments. The acting is frequently incredible. The visual direction is stunning. The script. Well. Okay. There are some truly regrettable bits. And some really great bits.

But on the whole: worth. I already knew I was going again, with iclysdale and The Wife. I'm not regretting this.
