So, just before Christmas, while hanging out at MEC with
j_v_lynch, (Teenagers hang out in malls; 30-something yuppified types in Ottawa hang out in MEC.) I acquired this jacket, in black.
It is warm. It is soft. It is incredibly light. It is stylish. Did I mention warm? and soft?
rayne_daze and I promptly christened it "The Floofie." Because we do that sort of thing.
I have been wearing The Floofie ... a lot. So today I had to wash it.
And it is wet.
And I am cold and forlorn and cranky and like a small child bereft of her teddybear. THIS sweater is TOO ITCHY. THAT bathrobe is TOO HEAVY. THOSE shawls are TOO HARD TO TYPE IN.
I want my floofie. And it is hanging in the bathroom, and it is ALL WET.
I need to work on that whole "detachment from material things" doohickey some more. Or buy a second Floofie.
