Bone scan was fine. Was kind of cool, even. I now cannot cross an international border w/o a doctor's note explaining that I am approvedly radioactive and have not swallowed a button of stolen plutonium or thallium or something for 48 hours. *glows*[1]

And there is officially SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY FOOT. There is a black spot on the scans the size of a Canadian quarter (10p GBP).

I feel greatly relieved by this. If we can see it, we can identify it. If we can identify it, we can fix it. And I am very tired of this and want it fixed.

Also, my tendency when injured is almost ALWAYS to have some part of my head that insists over and over (usually in the voice of a close relation of mine, name omitted) that I'm exaggerating, not really hurt, and just looking for attention. It's nice to be able to tell it to shut up and have it meekly do so.

On the downside, what with one thing and another I got about 90 minutes sleep last night and I forgot to call [livejournal.com profile] angevin2 at noon. I am contrite. And a bit zombified.

[1] Hyperbole. Humour. Funny ha-ha. Do not even BEGIN to think about considering typing the words to explain to me about how radioactivity doesn't make living flesh or bone glow.
