ajhalluk? -- was talking recently about how lack of knowledge of literary tropes can, if pushed too far, render characters supiciously over-naive.
On which note, I have of late, I know not why, been compelled to sing the most excellent advice, presented in song form, of one Duane Elms during the commercials while watching Dr Who:
"Don't push that button! Jeezus, Fred,
