I was always in fear of losing my tricorne , as up until January I wore it everywhere. When people ask I tell them it is because I am trying to bring it back into fashion, and wearing it might be the thing that helps.

Of course, wearing it everywhere leaves the possibility of forgetting it everywhere, which is a constant worry.

I kept leaving my hat places when we went out yesterday (walking downtown). The final cap to the whole experience was when I carefully stored the hat in my backpack during a concert -- and then had a conniption fit looking for it afterwards (having, of course, forgotten where I'd put it). It did make it safely home though.

Um. I'm reposting World Well Lost.

It is now completely de-Potterised (well, is being as I post and rewrite it). No more Slytherins, no more Gryffindors, no more Hogwarts, none of that crap. More history, less stupid.
