I realize this is a deeply unreasonable request.
But if anyone would be willing to go to the Registar General at Bay and
Wellesley for me to drop off a bunch of paperwork -- which I shall have
to fax you -- for an emergency birth certificate, I would be grateful
beyond words and owe them a very very very large favour.
They absolutely require a human; if I can't find someone I'll be going down myself.
It is likely to take about an hour.
ETA: I have the very bestest friends. I'm covered.
